We use goat’s milk in all of our soap (except Green Tea soap), because goat's milk contains several vitamins and other essential elements to help nourish the skin. Furthermore, the natural cream in goat's milk provides ultra-moisturizing properties. Though I do not add glycerin as an ingredient, my handmade soap definitley contains glycerin. Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild says this about glycerin---"Glycerin is a “humectant”, which means that it attracts and retains moisture on your skin. It is like a natural skin lotion in the soap. Glycerin is a natural by-product of the soapmaking process.  Most commercial soap manufacturers remove the glycerin  from the soap, process it and then sell it to other industries where it is used in foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other products.  With handcrafted soaps, glycerin remains intact in the soap. The end result is mild, pure soap that gently cleanses your skin without being harsh, irritating or drying."

Thus, our soap does wonders for sensitive skin!

We use only the best olive, castor, organic coconut and organic sustainable palm oils, combined with essential oils to give you the most benefit from our soaps.  We primarily use pure essential oils, but some are so precious & delicate, they have to be combined with a carrier oil (usually jojoba).  It does not contain petroleum ingredients or synthetic preservatives or fragrances.  Though handmade soap can be brightly colored with synthetic dyes or natural dyes that often contain traces of metals, I only choose botanical coloring. 

Now, you might be asking about the shrink wrap...yes, it is plastic and most likely petroleum based BUT is vital in keeping my soaps "clean".  Yes, there is a biodegradable wrap made out of corn, but that's another issue!
